Description
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer to join a leading precision engineering company based in Coventry (CV7), West Midlands. This role is ideal for a CNC Machinist with strong CNC programming, CNC setting and CNC operating experience, particularly within a fast-paced machine shop environment.
Location:
Based in Coventry (CV7) – ideal for candidates from Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Birmingham, Leicester, Hinckley & surrounding areas.
Pay:
£15.00 – £17.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 6:45am – 4:00pm
Fri: 6:45am – 11:45amKey Responsibilities:
CNC Programming, Setting and Operating on milling machines
Offline CNC Programming (OneCNC preferred – training provided)
Producing 1-off and prototype components to tight tolerances
Using precision measuring equipment: micrometers, bore mics, depth mics etc.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Working with Haas CNC machinery
Maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy and attention to detail
Meeting tight deadlines in a busy precision engineering environment
Following all health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Programmer, CNC Setter Operator, or CNC Machinist
Strong understanding of CAD/CAM or offline programming xjnqpsq
Ability to work on tight tolerance machining
Background in precision engineering, automotive, aerospace or manufacturing (advantageous)
