Location: Blackburn

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: 20 ph + bonuses

Contract: Permanent

TeamJobs is working with a leading engineering and machining company who are expanding their CNC milling department. We're looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Operator with strong HAAS experience to join their modern, purpose–built facility in Blackburn.

What you'll be doing

Programming, setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines

Producing medium–high batch components to tight tolerances

Selecting tooling, optimising cutting strategies and ensuring high production efficiency

Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

Working with a range of materials, including exotic alloys

Maintaining excellent quality and health & safety standards

What we're looking for

Time–served machinist with CNC milling experience

Confident programming on HAAS controls

Strong understanding of tooling, work holding and cutting strategies

Background in high–tolerance environments (automotive ideal)

A team player with great communication skills
