Assembly Operative

New Appointments Group are partnering with a leading manufacturer of premium fencing, gates and garden accessories.

We are looking for Assembly Operatives who will complete duties in the assembly of timber components using machinery and hand tools. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Timber assembly duties include:

Using hand tools and general assemblyAssembling the parts into a structureTo work at speed in order to maintain production flowUnderstand and follow works instructionsRequired skills:

Experience of working with hand tools would be beneficial, but full training is providedInterest in maintenance and DIYExperience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful Reliable, strong work ethic and organisational skillsAn eye for detail and high level of accuracyGood timekeeping and attendanceWill involve some reasonable lifting.What's on offer:

Hours are 8am–5.45pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8am–4.30pm.Immediate start available.Free parking.Due to the location it is essential that you have your own transport.Temporary work initially but will progress to a permanent offer after successful completion of a temporary trial period.
