Assembler – Colchester, – Full Time – £12.71 per hour – Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join a well-established engineering manufacturer in Colchester, specialising in ventilation and acoustic equipment. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity. uit someone with previous workshop or factory experience who enjoys hands-on work and is confident using hand and power tools. Metalwork experience would be a particular advantage.

About the Role

As an Assembler, you will help manufacture components and equipment used in ventilation and noise-control systems. Working within a busy engineering workshop, you will carry out general assembly duties, assist the fabrication team and operate machinery, including an auto spinner.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling components and equipment

Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery

Reading and following technical drawings and instructions

Assisting the fabrication team with metalwork and production tasks

Operating machinery, including an auto spinner

Supporting the smooth running of the workshop

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous workshop, factory or manufacturing experience

Confident using hand and power tools

Able to read and follow technical drawings

Metalwork xjnqpsq or fabrication experience is advantageous

Practical, reliable and willing to learn

Comfortable working as part of a team
