Manufacturing Technician

Location: Huddersfield

Pay: £24,500+ with view to rise after successful training

Duration: Permanent

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5 paid hours per week, 30 minute unpaid lunch)

Stafflex are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading UK designer and manufacturer of health equipment who are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the team. The manufacturing technician is responsible for assembling various components and products according to specified guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Basic maths and measurement skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physically active, with some lifting required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and multitask environment.

Use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery.

Off-site working - required at times for installation of equipment, servicing or repair work.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred, but not essential for the right applicant.Essential skills needed for the role:
