Are you dependable, hardworking and ready to take on an exciting new role? We're hiring for WarehouseOperative on night shift position on the AkzoNobel contract in Stowmarket, where safety, teamwork and efficiency come first.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 42.5 hours per week on night shift, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 22:00 to 06:30. Please note that this role is fixed term, running until 31st July 2026.

What you will do on a typical day:

Receive, check and correctly store incoming stock while ensuring all documentation (e.g., pick sheets, receipts) is completed accuratelyPick paint orders precisely, wrap pallets, label goods and prepare them for dispatch with a high standard of qualitySupport the safe and efficient loading and unloading of multiple vehicles using powered pallet trucks (PPT) and manual handling techniquesOperate forklifts (FLT) and PPTs for stock replenishment and putaway, while maintaining smooth warehouse flowKeep the warehouse clean and organised, following strict health and safety procedures at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous warehouse or logistics experience is helpful and FLT or reach truck experience is a bonus - but full training will be provided if neededGood attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong team player with a positive attitudeAbility to follow instructions and adhere to safety standardsReliable with good timekeepingWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
