Location: Thatcham, Berkshire

Salary: Up to 40,000

Summary:

An exciting opportunity to join a well–established wholesale distribution business in a night shift 10pm – 6am, Sunday night to Friday morning, hands–on leadership role.

Strong leadership experience within fast paced warehouse operations required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day–to–day warehouse operations, ensuring a strong safety culture and compliance with all health & safety standards.Manage, motivate, and develop a team to meet performance targets, KPIs, and service levels.Oversee stock control, vehicle loading, and warehouse housekeeping to maintain operational efficiency.Plan staffing levels, manage absences and holidays, and handle disciplinary and performance matters effectively.Drive process improvement initiatives, maintaining accurate records, SOPs, and resource utilisation.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5+ years' experience in warehouse or logistics management, with proven people leadership skills.Strong knowledge of health & safety practices and compliance.Experience managing budgets and operational performance metrics.Proficient in warehouse management and resource planning systems.Excellent communicator with strong problem–solving, planning, and time management abilities.Processing Your Data
