Location: Liverpool, L33

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: Circa 32,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + benefits

Ocean Freight Coordinator Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail–oriented Ocean Freight Coordinator to join their growing team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a drive to progress within the logistics industry.

Ocean Freight Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Managing import and export shipments from start to finishManaging ocean freight shipmentsQuoting for new and existing customersLiaising with suppliers including hauliers and shipping linesArranging transport via shipping lines, agents, and hauliersHandling account management for key customersProcessing customer invoices and supplier costsSupporting the coordination of ocean freight operationsMaintaining accurate records and ensuring timely updates to customersAssisting with customs–related processes where requiredKnowledge of completing full customs entriesFamiliarity with HMRC CDS clearance systemsExperience using freight forwarding systems (e.g. Cargoes, Actifreight, MCP, CNS)
