Description

Key Responsibilities:

The Maintrol Engineer will act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third–party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations. Responsibilities include:

Managing scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and maintenance programme requirementsControlling and monitoring Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating required spares, tooling and documentationSupporting aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty–time limitationsProviding real–time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers during in–flight or ground–based operational issuesCoordinating information flow following aircraft incidents and contributing to recovery planningAllocating aircraft in line with operational, engineering, and maintenance prioritiesImproving aircraft and Engineering performance through proactive use of aircraft monitoring and prognostic toolsProviding specialist technical support as required with due regard for safety, technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements

Job Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem–solving skillsAbility to interpret complex technical informationEffective influencing and communication skillsHigh level of situational awareness and decision–making capabilityAbility to prioritise and manage workload in a high–pressure operational environmentCollaborative approach with internal and external stakeholdersProfessional courage and sound technical judgementUK/EASA Part–66 B1 or B2 LicenceExperience in a maintenance or maintenance–control environmentProven ability to deliver cost–effective solutionsExperience improving efficiency and reducing operational costsStrong attention to detail and adherence to processesGood understanding of airline operations and proceduresComputer literate, ideally with experience in MS Office and maintenance systemsExperience working on Embraer 170/190 or similar technology aircraft is desirable but not essential
