HGV Class 1 Container Driver – Southampton
18/hour (Umbrella) Day Shifts Weekly Pay 9–Hour Minimum Daily Pay
Wild Recruitment is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join a leading container logistics company operating out of DP World terminal in Southampton. If you're looking for reliable work, competitive pay, and a supportive team – this is the role for you.

Guaranteed minimum 9 hours' pay per shift

DP World card reimbursement (after 2 weeks or 100 hours worked)

Role Responsibilities:
Operate LGV1 vehicles to transport containers
Work from DP World terminal
Ensure full compliance with safety and transport regulations
Contribute to smooth and efficient logistics operations
Requirements:
Valid UK Driving Licence (Category C+E)
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
DP World card (or willingness to obtain – we'll reimburse!)
12+ months' container driving experience
Strong knowledge of terminal and cargo logistics
