Air Export Operator

Description

Right Now Group are currently seeking an experienced Air Export Operator to join our client's team. Our client is a well-established Freight Forwarder based in Langley who specialise in providing a high-quality logistics service across air and road freight.

Job Responsibilities of an Air Export Operator:Handle daily communication with UK and overseas customers regarding import & export shipmentsComplete full air freight import/export customs clearances and European road freight documentationBook courier shipments and arrange collections/deliveries, ensuring timely movementPrepare and process Air Waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists and other shipping documentationLiaise with airlines, handling agents and third-party partners to coordinate freight effectivelyMaintain accurate data across internal systems including ASM Sequoia and BoxTopSupport with trade show and event shipments, organising equipment for international movementsRequirements of an Air Export Operator:Some previous import/export or freight forwarding experience (minimum 1 year preferred)Strong communication and organisational skillsConfident using IT systems and able to learn new softwareAbility to work efficiently within a busy, friendly team environmentFull UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)Right to work in the UKWhat's on offer for an Air Export Operator:Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch)Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 depending on experienceLocation: LangleyHoliday: 20 days + Bank Holidays
