Myford ML8 Woodturning Lathe + Nova G3 Chuck Bundle + Chisels + Cabinet + Books + Lamps + Extras

Description

I have owned this lathe for two years and, although I have used it to produce a number of things it has seen little use over the last year or so. I bought it from a retired gentleman who had himself acquired if from a school. It has been very well cared for. Everything works as it should, the electrics have been checked over by a qualified electrician, and it is a lovely piece of equipment. We are looking to down-size and, regrettably, the lathe is now surplus to requirements. It comes with all of the fittings you can see in the photographs plus a number of extras:

- Myford ML8 Wood Turning Lathe with photocopied assembly instructions
- Original Inboard and Outboard Face Plates and tool rests
- Several centres, drill chuck, callipers, face visor, centre finder
- Heavy-duty Cabinet (the lathe is securely bolted to it)
- Nova Pro-Tek G3 Chuck Bundle plus inserts for both the ML8 inboard and outboard drives
- The Child Coil Grip Chuck
- 3 Anglepoise Style lamps fitted to the cabinet (removeable) - my workshop is a bit gloomy
- 4 Glen Teagle carbide chisels - with spare tips - and a parting tool
- A set of traditional wood turning chisels (unbranded) which fit in racks to the cabinet
- 3 Books on Wood-Turning
- A set of library shelves on castors that I have used to store sandpaper, varnishes, etc.
- 3 large well-seasoned Laburnum logs, one cherry log with large burrs, a piece of Sapele
- A large heavy duty rubber mat to stand the lathe on and to work from - much more comfortable than standing on a concrete floor
- Several electric lamp fittings - I was going to make some lamp bases but never got around to it.
- A tarpaulin to keep it covered

This lathe is surprisingly heavy on its stand, certainly a two if not three man lift, so collection from near Oswestry in Shropshire will be required. You will need a van or largish trailer to carry all of the above. The lathe can be seen working. Any questions please get in touch.
