Experienced Gardening Assistant / Gardener Wanted
Small high-end gardening business looking for a reliable and detail-oriented gardener/gardening assistant to help maintain private gardens.
Work includes:
• garden maintenance
• hedge cutting
• pruning
• planting
• lawn care
• deadheading and seasonal tidy-ups
• occasional irrigation/basic garden maintenance tasks
We work mainly in private residential gardens and take pride in maintaining a high standard of presentation and care.
The ideal person will be:
• reliable and punctual
• physically fit and hardworking
• genuinely interested in gardening/horticulture
• observant with good attention to detail
• able to work carefully in client gardens
• professional and comfortable communicating with clients on-site
• polite, presentable and client-facing
• happy working both independently and as part of a small team
Previous gardening experience preferred, but attitude, care and willingness to learn are just as important.
Subcontract/self-employed basis initially.
