Experienced Gardener / Contractor

North London (Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Highgate, Hampstead)

The London Gardening Company is a growing North London-based business delivering reliable, high-quality garden maintenance and care to a strong and expanding client base.

We are currently looking for an experienced, professional self-employed gardener to join us on a subcontract basis, supporting consistent and well-organised work across the area.

The Opportunity

This role is designed to provide steady, local work without the usual admin burden.

We manage:

Client communication
Quoting
Scheduling
Billing

Allowing you to focus purely on delivering high-quality gardening work.

Work is efficient, localised and structured to make the best use of your time.

Scope of Work

Lawn care and mowing
Hedge cutting and shaping
Weeding and border maintenance
Pruning and planting
Garden clearances and seasonal tidy-ups

All work is domestic and within a concentrated North London patch.

What We’re Looking For

Solid gardening experience with good plant knowledge
A high standard of finish and attention to detail
Reliability and clear communication
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Requirements

Own transport
Full set of gardening equipment (mower, hedge cutter, strimmer, hand tools)
Public Liability Insurance
Self-employed (responsible for own tax and National Insurance)

North London-based applicants preferred.

£20 per hour, with consistent weekly work available
