Part time Garden operative labourer

Temporary / seasonal position within a small but busy Grounds maintenance and landscaping company.

Duties include grass / hedge cutting , all aspects of soft and hard landscaping. Experience helpful but training will be given. You will need to be available for at least 2 shifts per week between Mon -Sat. A degree of flexibility is needed but also given. If you have other commitments please highlight when applying. Hours are generally 8am -4.30pm but can be weather dependent. The work is physical and fast paced. You will have to be physically fit. Please do not apply if you are not used to heavy manual work. Wage is negotiable and dependent on experience. Working in customers gardens you will have to be honest, able to communicate well and look presentable. You must be able to follow instruction but also use common sense and apply to your tasks. You must be safety aware for yourself, colleagues and the general public. You must be comfortable working with power machinery like lawnmowers and hedge cutters. You will be working within a small team so it is essential you are able to work well with others as well as on your own. You will be picked up and dropped of at home or close location so would prefer if you lived in the following post codes. G42, G44 , G45, G72 & G73. You will need steel toe capped boots , all other PPE will be provided.
