Current Mileage is 115576.
I'm the third owner, bought the car June 2024.
Note-Number plate intentionally covered for privacy, happy to provide for HPI check. I have enough on without chasing cloner's and fraudster's.
Reason for sale-I was blue lighted for a triple heart bypass, 4 weeks ago recovering but to old now for climbing under and over cars.
I've never bothered with chasing the cars dealer history, as it is not somewhere I would take a car as they need a very experienced independent to keep them alive. Although I did contact them to confirm the steering rack recall had been done.
About The Car:
June 2024 at approx 106000 miles, All Timing chains / Sprockets and Tensioner's were replaced. / PTU Seal replaced. / Crankshaft Seal Replaced. / Gearbox Oil changed and temperature reset completed. / Engine Oils and Filters changed. / 2 x New front tyres making all 4 tyres new, they have only been driven approximately 9600 miles.
The garage that carried out the above chain work in 2024 was not an Ingenium connoisseur, although they are a 4x4 independent.
Anyway, my old engineering head was telling me the chains didn't sound right in my opinion. The garage couldn't or wouldn't listen to engineering logic, and I'm too old for gloves on the spot now.
So at the end of May beginning of June 2025, at 111574 miles - I decided to have the Timing Chains and all associated sprockets / tensioners and oil replaced for a second time, using a local independent 4X4 expert located in Leadgate, Consett, Durham, with a massive following on Facebook. And what a difference the car now sounds correct and runs great. The Timing Chains and Associated parts are still under guarantee until 29/05/2026. Invoice available, they have only been driven approximately 4000 miles. I also had other work carried out at the same time by this independent: The car has none and won't have issues with the DPF or AdBlue and associated components, MPG is excellent in my opinion.
In July 2025:
I myself replaced the Front & Rear brake discs / pads / slide pins / Rear calipers, complete with new electric handbrake motor actuators, so only been driven approximately 4000 miles. Also a new Battery fitted and the system reset, battery has a 5 year guarantee. Invoice available.
Bad Bits:
My next job was to replace the thermostat / housing and piston cooling solenoid.This needs doing as I've been monitoring the coolant and it drops about 100ml after a couple of weeks, and noticed a couple of drops hanging off the bottom of the alternator. I've never let the coolant warning come on, always monitored it and topped it up. I priced these parts at Maltings 4X4 over a month ago and they had them on the shelf with next day delivery. While stripping the front end off I was going to check all other possible leak points, oil etc. Since my world turned upside down these jobs will never get completed by me. The car has a couple of small marks on the paintwork sizes 5mm approx, but it never bothered me. All leather seats and interior etc are in excellent condition, I was going to hoover, clean and polish it but don't think that's going to happen either. I've always used a Diesel additive and DPF cleaner every 2 x fill ups. My Choice And the car has a Full tank of Diesel.
Remember these engines need much more than your average maintenance upkeep, if you're not capable of and committed to, just scroll past.
