Ranson Barnes Recruitment are pleased to be working with this very well-established Sheffield based client to recruit a Sales Account Manager to join their customer-focused, B2B sales team. Having spent time on-site with this client, we can assure you this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, self-motivated sales professional to work with a well-respected business that values consultative selling, relationship building, and delivering value-added solutions.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a mix of existing accounts (70% of time) and seeking new business (30% of time). Your focus will be on identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and offering tailored solutions to meet client needs, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

Sell a small range of physical products and business associated solutions.

*

Take a consultative sales approach—fact-find, establish customer needs, and present value-added solutions.

*

Achieve and exceed sales budgets and KPIs.

*

Proactively search for and win new business accounts.

*

Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to maximise repeat business.

*

Complete and submit all required weekly and monthly sales reports.

*

Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.

*

Support the development of sales skills within the team.

*

Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and policies.

*

Attend relevant training courses.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

*

A keen attitude to succeed and develop with a sales environment

*

A proven track record in winning new business and developing accounts (preferable)

*

Strong consultative sales skills—ability to sell on value, not price.

*

Excellent communication skills, rapport building, and relationship management.

*

Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently.

*

Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

*

Experience using Microsoft Excel

Benefits

· £25,000 to £28,000 basic

· Uncapped commissions (£500 to £1,500 month expected)

· 26 days holiday + 8 stats
