Infrastructure Engineer – £400 - £500 Per Day – 3 Months - Lincoln (Hybrid) - Consultancy

Overview:

We are currently searching for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established organisation based in Lincoln. The role will support and maintain a varied infrastructure environment covering cloud, server, storage and networking technologies while contributing to wider infrastructure projects and service improvements.

Role & Responsibilities:

Support and maintain core infrastructure across Azure Cloud, Windows Server, networking, storage and virtualised environments.

Provide 2nd line infrastructure support, investigating incidents and escalated technical issues.

Support major incidents, problem management and Root Cause Analysis within an ITIL-aligned environment.

Monitor infrastructure performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, installations and wider technology projects.

Work closely with internal technology teams, third-party suppliers and vendors.

Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing service improvement initiatives.Technical Requirements:

Strong experience working within an IT infrastructure environment.

Good knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies and Windows Server.

Experience supporting networking and server infrastructure.

Understanding of Azure Cloud, hypervisors, SAN and data storage technologies.

Good understanding of infrastructure security, backup, configuration and systems administration.

Experience working within ITIL processes, including incident, change and problem management.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. xjnqpsq

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional travel to other business locations.Role & Package:
