Location: Bloomsbury neighborhood of Central London

Pay Rate: £14.57 - £16.81 per hour - (inc holiday pay)

Shift: 09:30 AM - 03:30 PM (6 Hours)

Assignment Type: 1-Day Single Shift Cover

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Senior Kitchen Porter (Grade M2) for a 1-day assignment on Monday, 19th October 2026.

Working a manageable 6-hour day shift (09:30 to 15:30), you will take ownership of the kitchen wash-up area, ensure back-of-house hygiene standards are strictly maintained, and support the kitchen team during peak service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the deep cleaning of pots, pans, utensils, and commercial kitchen equipment.

Operate commercial passthrough dishwashers efficiently and safely.

Ensure all clean catering equipment, crockery, and cutlery are organized and returned to correct storage areas.

Carry out routine kitchen sanitation, waste disposal, and surface cleaning in line with Grade M2 standards.

Assist the head chef/kitchen team with heavy lifting, deliveries, and basic kitchen prep area setup where required.

Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and COSHH regulations throughout the shift.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Kitchen Porter or Lead KP in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, catering, or hospitality environment.

Solid understanding of COSHH, food safety regulations, and chemical handling. xjnqpsq

Strong work ethic, physically fit, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
