Ensuring the restaurant is fully stocked and prepared ahead of serviceProviding professional and attentive wine service throughout the guest experienceDeveloping detailed knowledge of the wine list and beverage offeringAssisting guests with wine choices and making appropriate recommendationsSupporting wine tastings and training sessionsMaintaining wine service equipment to the highest standardBeing aware of bookings, guest preferences and special requirementsSupporting the wider front-of-house team with beverage knowledge and serviceMaintaining consistently high standards throughout every service

We're looking for a Commis Sommelier who has:

A genuine passion for wine and fine diningPrevious experience within a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment preferredA strong desire to learn and develop their wine knowledgeExcellent communication and guest service skillsA keen eye for detail and a professional approachThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamAmbition to build a career within fine dining WSET qualifications would be desirable but are not essentialIf you're passionate about wine, ambitious to develop and looking to take your first or next step within Michelin-starred fine dining, we'd love to hear from you.
