Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly and hardworking team within a school in Blyth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous catering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing high standards of food service.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beveragesSetting up dining areas ready for serviceMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areasWashing up and operating kitchen cleaning equipmentAssisting with stock rotation and storage of deliveriesSupporting the kitchen team during busy service periodsFollowing all food safety and health & safety proceduresRequirements

Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, school, care home, or similar food service environment is essentialA positive, reliable, and team-focused attitudeAbility to work efficiently in a busy environmentFood Hygiene Level 2 Certificate requiredEnhanced DBS Check requiredDon't have the required certifications? Blue Arrow can support successful candidates with obtaining an Enhanced DBS and Food Hygiene Level 2 certification where required.
