2006 Honda Civic Ex 2.2 - Please read ad

Engine runs and sometimes drives, has suspected clutch or gearbox issue so this is best sold for parts or to be repaired.

2006 Honda civic ex 2.2 diesel for parts or a repair , clutch/gearbox issue but the engine does run and it does sometimes drive.
I’ll get to the bad points first -
There’s a clutch or gearbox issue, when I last used the car the other month after coming out to it I was fighting the whole way home to get it into gear. Parked up and it’s sat for 2 months other than to run to keep the battery charged, drove fine on a drive with no issues and I assumed it was a quirky one off issue but it’s happened again since. Sometimes starts and for the first five mins will go into gear and move, other times after a min or 2 it won’t go into gear at all. Haven’t got a clue what it could be, could be a simple fix or if not the car would be good for parts or spares, if you know about these you’ll know the engines are bulletproof. I bought the car 2 years ago as a cheap temp run about but kept it going and it never let me down.
Bad points - issue as stated above
Was missing a fog light so I covered them as you’ll see in pictures, just didn’t get around to fitting one.
Has a slow puncture ofs/r which has now gone flat. Will probably need new rear tyres.
Bodywork and paint aren’t the best, as you’ll see from pics it needs a good wash outside as it’s covered in marks from the previous clean and when it’s got wet although it is clean under this nevertheless.
Bonnet holder rattles about so I keep it in the boot until I need to go under the bonnet.
Headlights sometimes flicker when first driving.
Mot expired 2 months ago.

Has working heated seats, sat nav, phone pairing, HID kit from factory,electric adjusting and power folding mirrors, headlight washers, cruise control, climate control, full electric windows, panoramic roof and much more not listed.
Also has nice aftermarket alloys on.
I’ve been as honest as I can. It is a tatty old workhorse but broken down is probably worth more in parts. May also be a cheap fix to get it back on the road. It’s been fairly bulletproof and never skipped a beat even though it was just a cheap temp runabout.
