Great to be on the outskirts of London with a country feel and less pollution and cars around. Yet only 20 mins to central London by train reliable) and in Zone 6- Oyster. Fantastic and regular bus services (local and London so can use Oyster on the latter as well).Can walk to trains station in 10 mins or be in Barnet or Edgware by bus around 15 mins and bus service to Chessington Theme park. I have lived here for 12 years and one previous tenant before me (I think), so all fixtures still good clean and ‘new’.
Really good area to live in via ‘next door’ Next door or across the road there is a Extra (large) Supermarket and many other restaurants, pubs and independent small shops/ cafes, before a large retail park with more shops at the end of the main road. I am 5 mins away from GP, across the road to leisure centre, swimming pool and council offices. I am also behind a large park and Elstree Film studios where many films and live shows are recorded including Strictly Come dancing. The studio provides free tickets for you and I am a 10 mins away walk away from Eastenders film studio and Sky studios. You see celebrities regularly in this historical town and yet family friendly with many local schools around.
