Description
A vintage microscope which is ideal for school biology students, medical students, hobbyists or even professionals.
The microscope is in excellent condition.
Three eye-piece lenses are provided with x5, x10 and x12.5 magnification. There are also three objective lenses with x10, x40 and x100. Together this allows a minimum magnification of x50 and a maximum magnification of x1250. The microscope comes in a wooden box with dimensions 360mm x 170mm x 235mm. The box weighs 2.3kg and the microscope weighs 5kg making a total weight of 7.3kg.
Slides placed on the stage can be manoeuvred up and down and left and right by means of turning screws. Light from the reflector can be filtered by means of the coloured filter discs provided.
A box of unused microscope slides plus a box of glass cover slips and a box of prepared specimens (parts of a honey worker bee) are also part of the sale. As is a tool set to help prepare slide specimens.
