We are looking for a dedicated Young Persons Support Worker to join our team, providing person-centred support to young people living in supported accommodation.

About the Role As a Young Persons Support Worker, you will:

Provide tailored, one-to-one and group support to young people, helping them to build resilience, develop life skills, and move towards independent living.

Support young people to understand safeguarding and safety, empowering them to make positive choices.

Build strong, trusting relationships using a trauma-informed approach.

Coordinate support plans and work closely with colleagues, housing providers, and external agencies to meet young people's needs.

Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and safeguarding policies.

Act as first point of contact for your caseload, responding to incidents, emergencies, and safeguarding concerns appropriately.

Encourage young people to co-design their own support plans and take an active role in shaping their future.

About You Looking for a Young Persons Support Worker who is:

Experienced in working with young people or vulnerable groups (experience in supported housing, social care, or youth work is desirable).

Adaptable, creative, and engaging in their approach to support.

Able to work independently, including lone working and out-of-hours shifts.

Confident in managing safeguarding concerns and responding to crises.

Organised and able to maintain clear records and reports.

Passionate about empowering young people to reach their potential.
