The role:

Lead and oversee the day–to–day operations of supported living services for adults with learning disability.Manage and support a team of care staff, providing supervision, training, and performance management to ensure high–quality care delivery.Develop and implement individualised support plans tailored to each service user's needs and preferences.Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and external agencies.Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.Promote a person–centred approach, empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and independence. Previous experience in supported living, adult social care, or a similar setting, with a strong understanding of care standards and regulations.Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with service users, families, and professionals.Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent; Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification is desirable.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Car driver with access to your own vehicle.Flexibility to be part of the Oncall rota ( 1 in 3 weeks) paid at 65.00 on call allowance and to work on shift where required which would be 50% of the role.
