Salary: 60,000 – 65,000

This role DOES NOT require registration with Ofsted, making it an excellent fit for experienced managers looking to potentially take a step from being registered!

As the Peripatetic Manager your Key duties and responsibilities will include:

– Provide leadership and support in the absence of Registered Managers.

– Supporting the Registered Manager's in instances of probation, performance improvement plans for managers, sub standard inspection's or Reg44 visits,

– Ensure high standards of care and compliance across multiple residential homes.

– They will need to be decisive and solutions–focused, you cannot be afraid to step on the occasional toe if it means offering better support to our young people.

– Report directly to senior management on operational and strategic matters.

The ideal person for this Peripatetic manager :

– Proven experience in managing residential children's homes.

– Strong background in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

– Experience doing supervisions for managers is desirable, but by no means essential

– Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work flexibly and travel between different locations.

– Desirable: Experience in a learning disabilities (LD) specialist organisation.
