Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Nottinghamshire area. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months experience of providing essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well–being. This role requires effective communication skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to follow care plans while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Position: Night & Day Shifts Healthcare Worker

Pay rate: 12.71 P/H (including holiday pay)

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate effectively with residents', families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition. Help with administrative tasks, including updating patient information using IT systems. Foster a warm and supportive environment that promotes the dignity and independence of each resident. Experience

At least 1 years previous experience in a care home setting. Strong communication skills both written and spoken in English. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and build rapport with residents and colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation is preferred.
