SEN College Support Worker – Poole, Dorset

SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a specialist college for students who have autism, profound needs and SEMH, and are seeking an experience SEN TA/Support worker for an immediate start.

Start: September 2026

Duration: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday

Hours: 9am – 4pm

The ideal education support worker –

will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with Autism, social emotional mental health difficulties,and profound needs experience supporting students aged 16 – 25 able to follow students ECHPs experienced with SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background Experience providing personal care the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students have a clear DBS registered to the update service be Team Teach trained (desirable) About us:

SENCare Recruitment provides Special Educational Needs (SEN) professionals for SEN schools, mainstream schools, residential care homes and 1–1 home support through local authorities, across the UK. We can offer short/long term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners and mid–day meal supervisors.
