Godin Guitars are all crafted in Canada combining the fine art of the experienced luthier with the advanced science of electronics to produce professional, playable instruments like this one.

This beautiful example of the Godin ACS Slim Multiac SA Nylon electric guitar in natural cedar with conventional Roland guitar synth/midi Pickup does not come along too often. That’s because this instrument is in pristine condition, never gigged or even taken out of the house. The price includes the original gig-bag.

According to Godin, “The Multiac… not only produces superb amplified sound [via a conventional 1/4” jack], but also produce a hexaphonic output through a 13-pin connector, which provides these guitars with direct access to Roland TM GR-series synthesisers… The ¼” phone output works with a regular guitar cord. The 13-pin connector provides hexaphonic output (a separate signal for each string) that is compatible with a number of guitar synths.”

“The ACS is actually a solid body nylon string guitar. Although the body is chambered, the combination of basswood capped with light maple is more typical of a solid body design… The slight 16” radius on the fingerboard makes this guitar very comfortable in the hands of those who spend most of their time playing steel string instruments.” The “slim” in the model’s name refers to the neck width, here the narrow neck (1.375”) is slightly narrower than a standard Stratocaster (1.6875”) further enhancing the playability for Strat players.
Godin goes on, “Merging the finest traditions of guitar crafting with modern electronics the ACS will open up a new world of musical expression, used alone or connected to a guitar compatible synth… The ACS has been extensively tested with both the Roland GR-01 and GR-09.” Seller’s note: I used it successfully with a GR-20 for quite some time.

On-board controls cover guitar volume, synth volume, 3 band (Low, Mid, High) EQ, selector switch for mid band EQ (700 or 1200Hz) and programme-up and programme-down buttons.
Nut width: 1.375”, 35mm (top and bottom string centres).

The 9-volt battery lasts 300 hours according to Godin.

Included: 1 set Pro-Arte Nylon Core Strings, Hard Tension, Ref EJ46, unopened, the same strings as on the guitar and a Hercules (very secure) guitar wall hanger. (Screws included but you’ll need long rawlplugs!)

Ideally, collect from Ormskirk, Lancashire. That way you can try it before you commit. Alternatively, I will deliver to any location in Lancashire, Merseyside or Cheshire.
