Description
Reliable classic electric guitar that stays in tune and sounds really good.
Produced for the American Unico company they were designed to compete with Gibson and made in Japan by the legendary Matsumoku factory in the late 70s and early 80s. Some of the best guitars of the 70’s were made at Matsumoto which ceased production in the mid 80’s.
Westbury guitars are made from top-class materials with much better tuners than Gibson, much better pickups (DiMarzio PAF in the neck and Super Distortion in the bridge) and hare more durable.
This guitar has a good action and is in good overall condition but has some slight fretware mainly around 2nd/3rd fret of the B-string. (Difficult to photograph)
When I discovered these I bought three (and sold my Gibsons). Now it’s time to sell!
