Description
Gibson les paul new century - this has been modified and refinished:-
Was originally 2 pickups with 4 control knobs - now EMG pickups 81 and 85, with rear battery compartment added - one volume control and a boost switch - not sure what it does technically, but appears to jump increase gain/volume ( the underplate cavity apace is as original so can drill holes in the top plate to add 4 controls again if preferred)
This guitar was painted green when I got it, I resprayed with grey primer and then satin black for more traditional look. Was aware that this may obscure the serial number so took a pic of headstock number before going over in black. 006660614
Black hardware from Gibson BFG. les paul
These were originally mirror top finish - in form of a plate screwed onto the top of the guitar - this has been replaced with an aluminum plate, painted black, and also same added to the headstock with a metal 'Gibson' logo.
Some gold vinyl stripes added to finish off the look.(can easily be removed)
Comes with Gibson USA gig bag.
All in all, a great Gibson USA guitar with a unique look.
