Eastcoast D1S Solid top dreadnought

Description

Lovely dreadnought acoustic guitar with a solid spruce top and beautiful walnut back and sides. Ideal for practice sessions and beginners alike. Virtually as new condition, with the exception of my obvious modification.
Originally purchased to 'experiment' with side ports as a means of changing the sound direction towards the player. The intention was potentially to splash out more cash later, on a more 'up market' guitar, if I could hear a big enough improvement.
My conclusions were positive and so it's time to sell-on the prototype and save some cash for the next investment.
The guitar has a flawless satin finish on top, back and sides and is relatively lightweight for a full sized dreadnought. The new purchase price for this product is usually £119, so I am deliberately selling my prototype for barely 50% of its original outlay. It's only 4 months old too.
The sound port has had the effect of increasing both volume and note clarity from the players perspective and is proving to be more and more popular with manufacturers.
NB the pick guard came supplied separately with the guitar and can be easily removed if not required.
