Description
Hello! I offer one-on-one guitar tuition in rock and pop styles, and have been teaching since 2009. I attended the Academy of Contemporary Music and have played hundreds of gigs in several bands over the years.
I teach both acoustic and electric guitar and, being left-handed myself, I can easily accommodate both right-handed and left-handed players.
My focus is on teaching beginners and I lean more on the fun side of playing, using songs you enjoy as learning tools. We can also delve more into the technical and theory side of things too with an understanding of chords, scales and improvisation.
Typical rock/pop artists I've used for teaching lessons include: The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, Oasis, Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Kings of Leon, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and many others.
Lessons are conducted online over Zoom, and I offer 30 minute, 45 minute or 1 hour lessons.
