Description
Just purchased a new amplifier so this has to go. It’s the later revised A01 edition of this amp which had the upgraded fan unit. It’s in excellent condition and looks new. Never left my studio. Good luck!
Product Overview
The Ampeg Micro Series Amps deliver the same stunning, full, punchy and round sound as the SVT, but in a much smaller package. Perfect for recording or small-to-medium-gig solution for bass players that love rich fundamental and studio-ready tone. Although their distinctive good looks make them an instant conversation, their beauty goes further than the aesthetics. Whether you go for the vintage-style Micro-VR or the more contemporarily appointed Micro-CL, you’re getting a professional amp with all the key features needed to get any job done, from studio to stage.
The Micro-VR is serious tone machine. Ampeg engineers used the iconic SVT-VR as their design inspiration, and the result is every bit as capable as its larger sibling, only smaller. The head delivers 200 watts of MOSFET power into a 4-ohm load and offers authoritative, fundamental-rich tone ideal for small gigs, rehearsals, apartment living, and bleed-sensitive recording situations. Although its tone might be its most attractive feature; its traditional look makes it sure to start a conversation wherever it goes.
