Beautiful vintage Chiellini Italy chess set, featuring a green and cream natural stone/alabaster chessboard with a complete set of 32 matching carved chess pieces.
The board measures approximately 26cm × 26cm and is clearly marked “Chiellini Italy” in the lower corner.
The natural green and cream stone has lovely variations, veining and tonal differences throughout, making each square and chess piece unique.

Attractive vintage Italian decorative piece
The chess set itself is in good vintage condition. There are some age-related marks and signs of use consistent with a vintage stone set. The original cardboard box has considerable wear and damage, as shown in the photographs, but I've retained it because it carries the original Chiellini branding and identification.
A beautiful set for playing chess, collecting or simply displaying on a coffee table, sideboard or in a study.
