Description
Role Overview:
Lead TP141 commissioning activities for medium and high–voltage systems (11kV–400kV), ensuring full compliance with TP141 standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage TP141 commissioning for MV/HV systems (11kV–400kV).
Supervise and coordinate on–site testing activities performed by non–TP141 Test Engineers.
Conduct and approve primary and secondary injection testing, CT/VT validation, and interlocking checks.
Oversee protection relay testing (Siemens, ABB, GE, etc.) and SCADA integration in accordance with IEC 61850 and IEC (phone number removed)–101/104 protocols.
Prepare, review, and approve TP141 test packs, method statements, and commissioning documentation.
Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and interface with client representatives for testing approval and final system energisation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a TP141–authorised Commissioning Engineer.
Strong hands–on expertise in protection and control commissioning across voltage levels (11kV–400kV).
Ability to supervise and guide non–TP141 personnel to maintain compliance with TP141 standards.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
