Description

Holt Engineering are working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Christchurch who are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in assembly and production processes who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development, quality, and continuous improvement.

This is a permanent position working full time Monday to Friday with an early finish Friday's.

Paying up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities for the Production Team Leader:

Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operatives on the assembly line.

Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.

Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.

Implement and maintain health & safety standards across the production area.

Conduct training and support the development of team members.

Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and optimise efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and productivity.

Updating the production list regularly for work orders and work stages. To be a successful Production team Leader:

Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (essential).

Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control principles.

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
