This role is for a Systems Engineering Delivery Manager to lead multiple future capability projects.

Responsibilities

The Systems Engineering Delivery Manager is responsible for: Leadership & Governance of multiple multi-functional teamsKeeping the project on budget and budget controlMitigation / management of risks to lowest level possibleManaging and owning the engineering resourcesManaging plans against progress / milestonesLook for potential opportunities to benefit the projectsEnsuring the technical and engineering aspects of the projects are delivered appropriatelyYou'll have a proven track record of actively leading successful project delivery on a diverse range of diverse, complex technology focused projects. Looking to make the next move in your career, your passion for keeping up with the latest technological innovation inspires multi-disciplinary teams to successfully conceive, create and implement solutions for clients.

Qualifications

A HNC / HND / FD or Bachelor's degree in an engineering subject

Essential skills

Engineering ManagementProject Management understanding (Critical path control, Risk understanding)Worked as an engineer on either Hardware, Software or Systems engineering.Full knowledge of 'V' lifecycleLeadership & ManagementExcellent communication skills at all levelsStakeholder ManagementResource and Integrated Business PlanningWith experience in a client facing role, you'll possess excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills. You'll also be an accomplished subject matter expert within your profession, demonstrating a broad range of experience, including some of the following skill areas: Planning and estimatingDesign and Analytical analysisResource ManagementCapability developmentProject and Commercial ManagementCommercial Management

Desired skills

Air Defence Systems.Dismounted ManPADSIn Service and FutureDefence background.MOD experience

Experience

Engineering Management, (Problem solving, Systems Engineering (MBSE is desirable)Leadership & ManagementResource and Integrated Business PlanningMarine / Air defence projects desirable
