Astute 's Nuclear team is partnering with an engineering business with over 40 years' experience across civil nuclear, defence and nuclear consultancy work to recruit a Senior EC&I Engineer on a permanent basis, working remotely for nuclear decommissioning sites across the UK.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior EC&I Engineer role

The EC&I Engineer will be responsible for producing design studies and manufacturing designs for high-profile nuclear projects.The engineer will work within a multi-discipline design team and be responsible for undertaking the design of equipment as delegated by the Integration Manager and/or Project Manager.Professional and Personal skills

The Senior EC&I Engineer role would suit someone who has:

Relevant Engineering Degree, HNC or demonstrable equivalent experienceIOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalentEligibility for SC clearance5+ years post grad experienceExperience & Knowledge

Broad based engineering experience in design and manufacturingDesign of electrical systemsLow voltage control gearControl systemsINDNUC
