My client is a leading provider of innovative power engineering services, supporting private network owners, embedded generation investors, and carbon-reducing organisations. With a strong pipeline of projects - from private infrastructure networks and microgrid solutions to hydrogen generation and battery storage - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business shaping the UK's energy future.

The Role

As a key member of the commercial team, you'll provide contractual and commercial expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working with project managers, procurement, and delivery teams, you'll help drive business performance and ensure commercial assurance on high-value contracts, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke frameworks.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing contract negotiations, variations, and claims to maximise value.Supporting project delivery teams with cost forecasting, risk management, and budget control.Leading on contract resolution and advising on procurement routes.Building strong relationships with delivery partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.Ensuring compliance with internal controls and best commercial practices.This is a high-profile role where you'll play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of major energy infrastructure projects.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).Strong experience in contract management and administration (NEC / JCT essential).Skilled negotiator with the ability to manage claims and resolve disputes.Excellent numerical and analytical ability with attention to detail.Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.Chartered or working towards (RICS / CIOB / CICES) desirable.Full UK driving licence.
