The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join a growing engineering and product development team working on a wide range of complex and bespoke electronics and communications products.
This role is ideal for an engineer with project coordination experience who enjoys working across multiple departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with engineering, project leadership, and product teams, you will support the successful delivery of new product development projects from concept through to manufacture and release.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate engineering and development project activitiesMaintain key project documentation including project plans and statements of workSchedule and track project tasks, ensuring deadlines are achievedProvide regular progress updates to stakeholdersManage prototype and development material ordering, including PCBs and metalworkOrganise and facilitate project review meetingsSupport resource planning and project roadmap deliveryThis is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.
Skills & Experience required:
A degree in Engineering or a related technical disciplinePrevious experience within a design engineering, project engineering, or product development environmentExcellent organisational and communication skillsStrong stakeholder management experienceThe ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyA proactive and problem-solving approachExperience or knowledge in some of the following areas would be advantageous:
New product development (NPD)Electronics or embedded systemsRF, analogue or digital electronics
