Description

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily mechanical & electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

You will be required to carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtimeComplete scheduled maintenance tasks safely, to standard, and on timeIdentify and implement engineering improvements that enhance reliability, performance, and efficiencySupport production during shift with a proactive, solutions-focused approachCommunicate clearly with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure effective coordination and decision-makingExecute planned and preventive maintenance activities in line with the maintenance plan to maximise asset reliability and longevitySupport proactive improvement activities, identifying recurring issues and contributing to root cause analysis and reliability improvementsCollaborate closely with Operations and Manufacturing teams to prioritise maintenance activities that support production continuity.4 on 4 off pattern, 4 Days and 4 Nights

Profile

Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques. Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimumExperience of working in reactive maintenance rolesStrong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
