4-4 Continental Shift Pattern 2 Days, 2 Nights and 4 Off

Zenith People are working with our client who are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias or multi-skilled background to join a busy Maintenance Department.

Maintain plant and equipment, assist with installation and commissioning of new systems, and support upgrades of existing equipment Develop skills through training and experience, while supporting the development of colleagues Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Primary Activities

Work safely at all times, following instructions, procedures, permits, lock-offs, and safety systems Assist in safety improvements wherever possible Carry out reactive maintenance (e.g., breakdowns) and proactive maintenance (e.g., planned preventative maintenance, spares build-up) Diagnose causes of equipment failure and identify root causes, communicating findings to relevant personnel Work efficiently and expediently in all duties Share relevant information with lead technicians, colleagues, and other personnel Hand over incomplete work at the end of shifts Person Specification

Essential

Minimum qualification: Time-served, Full Apprenticeship in Maintenance/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience in: Electrical fault finding Installation and fault-finding of AC/DC motors Single and three-phase supplies Ability to: Manage time and information effectively, prioritising tasks Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Work independently as well as within a team Benefits
