Description

Do you have experience inspecting CNC machined parts or are already an Inspector keen for a new challenge? If you are, we may have just the opportunity you are looking for.

Our World leading client is seeking a talented Inspector to join a team, that manufactures precision machined components and assembles them into world class products.

You will be involved with the dimensional inspections of both sub-contracted and in-house manufactured parts in the machine shop, working off engineering drawings. You will use various hand measuring equipment and be keen to collaborate accordingly, in the resolution of issues and relay findings accordingly to the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Experience inspecting components, ideally of CNC machined parts.

Understanding Engineering Drawings

Great communication skills are a must!

A problem-solving nature, always wanting to find the best solution!

Ambition, drive, a genuine team player

Be conversant with Microsoft Office applications.

Skills and Experience

CMM experience (ideally MITUTOYO MCosmos basic programming)

Developing and implementing quality standards.

Developing and implementing quality control systems.

Monitoring and analysing quality performance (Six Sigma / SPC)

Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

Collaborating with managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.

Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.

Ability to Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve respective concerns - Maintain Database

Involvement in corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

Reviewing NCR Data, specifications, and processes.

Other Details

5 weeks holiday per annum.

Contributory pension scheme (open to new employees after 3 months).

36hrs a week (Mon-Thurs 6:30am -4pm)
