Mechanical CAD

Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Technician to support the delivery of a wide range of water-sector engineering projects. This hybrid role offers flexibility while requiring 3 days per week in our Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality mechanical CAD drawings and 3D models for water infrastructure projectsWork closely with engineers and designers to develop accurate, coordinated design solutionsSupport the preparation of technical documentation and project deliverablesContribute to design reviews, clash detection, and model coordination activitiesMaintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with project and industry requirements

Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience working within the water industryStrong proficiency in Mechanical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed mechanical drawingsStrong understanding of engineering principles and design workflows

Desirable

Revit experience Autodesk experience Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary design teams

Working Model
