CNC Production Engineer

Description

A Production Engineer with experience of 5 axis machines is sought to join a growing and ambitions engineering business in the Walsall area

You will be responsible for offline programming of production parts to allow seamless transition into manufacturing, creating method of manufacture and tooling plans and liaising with external vendors to maximise technologies and improve existing processes. You will also analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience:

Ability to program offline with knowledge of 5 axis is essentialKnowledge of Cad / Cam systems and Hypermill & Edgecam in particular are key skillsExperience in machining, specifically high precision engineeringExperience of leading or working on CI programs would be advantageousA desire to improve processes and challenge the status quo is a mustExperience of machining graphite would be considered a significant advantageResponsibilities:

This is a full–time, permanent position, 39 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm.
