JOB- Manufacturing Engineer

LOCATION- Hampshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- GBP45,000-GBP55,000 per annum

My client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis in the Hampshire area. The ideal candidate would be to provide support to ensure Quality, Efficiency and repeatability of process on current and new equipment

The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree Qualified in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering / Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent work based experienceHave experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within product development in a similar environmentBe able to read & interpret engineering drawingsExperience within Lean ManufacturingExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work individually or as a team The Manufacturing Engineer role will involve:

Verify manufacturing processes are fit for purpose and achieving quality and performance targetsWorking alongside the Quality Engineers to verify effectiveness of quality control systemsDevelop operating instructions and troubleshooting guides for processes/ equipmentProvide training and guidance to colleagues for existing and new equipmentCreating production work and test instructionsMonitor manufacturing processes, identify and justify potential improvementsGood knowledge of Problem-solving techniques RCA tools such as Process FMEA, 8D & control plansFactory floor layoutsParticipate in process improvement teams to resolve issuesAttend training and participate in Continuous professional development If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
