Are you an experienced Machine Setter looking for a role where your skills will be valued and your development genuinely supported?

We're delighted to be working with a market–leading medical manufacturer in Crawley who are looking for a motivated Level 1 Machine Setter to join their production team.

This is more than just a machine–setting role. You'll have access to structured training, development and progression, with four skill and pay bands to work towards as you build your knowledge and experience.

The role

As a Machine Setter, you'll play a key role in ensuring production lines run efficiently, safely and to the required quality standards. You'll be responsible for:

Setting machinery and production lines to specified requirements

Running equipment and monitoring production performance

Working towards hourly and daily production targets and KPIs

Identifying opportunities to improve machine performance and efficiency

Carrying out regular quality control checks

Completing accurate production documentation and machine logs

Communicating effectively during shift handovers and with the wider manufacturing team

Working closely with QA, R&D, Engineering and Production Planning

Maintaining excellent 5S standards

Carrying out regular maintenance checks

Following high standards of Health & Safety at all times

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have previous experience setting and running machinery or production lines within a manufacturing environment.

Just as important is your attitude. We're looking for someone who is:
