Machine Operative - up to 16ph - Day and Night shift - Shift work

Are you looking for your next opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operative to join an established production team in Poole.

This is a hands-on production role suited to someone with experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for monitoring production, maintaining quality standards and ensuring machinery continues to run efficiently.

As Machine Operative, your duties will include:Operating and feed various machinery safely and efficiently in line with production requirementsMonitoring machinery throughout the production process and making adjustments where requiredEnsuring machinery is running at the correct speeds and maintaining consistent production outputCarrying out regular quality checks to ensure products meet the required standardsIdentifying and reporting any machinery, production or quality issuesMonitoring material usage and minimising unnecessary wasteCarrying out machine cleaning and routine housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient production areaFollowing production orders and ensuring the correct materials are used and kept appropriately separatedCompleting production records and other relevant paperwork accuratelyWorking to strict health and safety, quality and production proceduresMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentWe are looking for a Machine Operative who has:Previous experience operating production machineryGood attention to detail and an understanding of quality requirementsExperience working to production targets and deadlinesA good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environmentThe ability to identify issues and communicate them effectivelyA reliable, flexible and proactive approach to workFlexibility to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekendsIn return, you will receive:Up to 16 per hourTemp to perm opportunityFull training providedOn-site parkingOpportunity to develop your skills within an established manufacturing environment
